Cuts Ice Featured in The Sunday Times

Over the weekend (September 1st 2019) Cuts Ice was asked to respond to recent reports of illnesses linked to vaping in the US. The Centre for Disease Control (CDC) is now belatedly admitting that these cases are the result of the use of black market cannabis products, rather than nicotine-containing products that are widely used in the UK.

Our CEO, Nigel Quine’s response;

“Independent research and public health bodies are clear that vaping is a significantly safer alternative to smoking. More than 3m smokers in the UK have switched to vaping, which is recognised as twice as effective in helping them give up as traditional treatments such as patches and gums. In the UK, vaping is strictly regulated. All e-liquids containing nicotine that are sold to consumers undergo comprehensive testing before being allowed on the market.”
